This Sunday we decided to go ahead and carve it. Pumpkins don't last long here in Florida, what with the humidity and all. In fact, we've got another one for "back-up" if this one ends up rotting before Halloween!
Initially, Coby was pretty into digging out the goop, but then, like so many other things, it started to go awry. Joking, I asked if he wanted to go to the bounce house. I'll be darned if he didn't jump up and say, "Shoes" and then go running off to get them! They were having a carnival tonight with trick-or-treating and everything, so...we went. Who says this kid is spoiled?
When we got back I finished carving our pumpkin with Robert brushed Coby's teeth and got him in pajamas.
