Baby Jillian is here!!!
After spending all week walking and cleaning, I decided to take it easy on my last day of spring break. Baked cookies with Coby and then took him to preschool. Got a pedicure. Then that afternoon we drove out to Newberry for an egg hunt at a friend's house. Ate a chili dog and next thing you know I'm feeling a little crampy. Things quickly progressed, and by bed-time, full on contractions had started. We got the the birth center a little after 2 o'clock and Jillian was born at 2:47 AM.

We were able to come home just 2 hours later and I don't know that Coby really ever knew we were gone! He could not be more excited for his baby sister to finally be here with us! (We'll just have to see how long it lasts...)

Shower for Baby Jillian
The last few weeks have been busy ones. I volunteered to be a model for a pregnancy photographer, which I was a little nervous about, but ended up really enjoying!

Last weekend my friends from school (all of whom have boys) threw a baby shower for me. The great thing about a second baby is that you don't NEED anything so you just get a bunch of FUN stuff. In our case, that meant frilly, pink, adorable baby girl clothes.

As if we aren't busy enough with everything else going on in our lives, we got Coby signed up for soccer. We got through potty training, sleep training, and the first day of preschool without bribing Coby with presents or treats, but we finally caved when it came to getting him to wear his soccer cleats! Thankfully, once they were on he hit the field running and had a GREAT first day of practice!

Can't wait for next week's practice!
