Belated Valentine's Day Party

We finally got to have our Valentine's Day party this week! Now that we have our toddler-size bounce house, we decided to blow it up every chance we get. It was definitely a hit!
Coby and Lincoln were holding hands and jumping - so cute!
Of course it ended in a tackle...but they both were still having fun. I think they just like to rough-house with each other!
I made a delicious baked ziti with protein crumbles instead of beef. Robert couldn't even tell the difference (I didn't tell him until he had eaten a bowlful!) And for dessert we delicious chocolate cupcakes!
This weekend we continued our marathon of birthday celebrations. That's one thing with all the kids being the same age - all their birthdays are in winter! We went to Northeast Park for Evan's birthday party and had a great time playing on his Thomas the Train.

Later that evening we had our very first Moms and Dads Night Out (thank you Mom for the date night money!) Who knew those dads could be so much fun??? Everyone had a great time and we hope to do it again soon.

Valentine's Day

We had planned on having a Valentine's Day party this past week, but around noon Robert took Coby's temperature and it was 102.5. Meant we had to quickly cancel the party and hurry home to take care of our sick little guy.
By Friday he was feeling better, and Saturday he was up for a trip to the Florida Museum of Natural History. We hadn't been to the butterfly museum in ages!
Then Sunday we all went to watch the Florida Gator baseball team finish off their series against UCF. Florida is ranked #1 right now. Best thing is that on Sundays it's only $1 to get in. Then soda and popcorn is only a buck too! Have already circled all the Sunday home games on the calendar.

Here's an old video of us hanging out with Sofia and Lincoln...

Rain, rain, go away!

We've been having tons of rain here this last week, which means lots of time indoors. With a toddler it means being super creative so as not to end up sitting in front of the tv all day! Fortunately, we had lots of plans this week!

Friday we went to see the Gator gymnastics team complete. Ada had some free tickets from work, so we joined her, Cory and Valerie at the O'Connell center to watch them take on Alabama. Coby loved watching the gymnasts and clapped for them at the end of every routine =o)

Then, this weekend we had Sophia's birthday party! It was supposed to be at Coffrin Park, but got moved to Ada's condo clubhouse at the last second (same place we had our wedding reception).

Coby and Lincoln are really getting along lately - I think because they both are little rough-housers! So far no one has gotten hurt and they both are having fun. They're going to make a great pair of best buds.
Later that same day we had a second birthday to get to! Fortunately the weather had cleared out and we got to utilize the bounce house they had set up for the event.
You can see there were some older kids at the party, so I ended up in the bounce house protecting my not quite 2-year old, and let me tell you, there should be an age limit on those things! By the time we were leaving my back was so SORE I could barely get in the car to drive home. I am not joking.
Sunday we relaxed and made brownies to eat while we watched the Super Bowl.
