After hearing about all the fun Jacoby and I had the week before, Robert decided that he wanted to go to the beach too! Saturday we hopped in the car and headed to Crescent Beach for a fun afternoon of splashing in the surf. Jacoby is quite the little water dog!
The three of us enjoyed walking down the beach, collecting shells along the way.
The weather was perfect! We waited until late afternoon to leave Gainesville so the sun wouldn't be too intense and ended up timing it just right. The only rain we saw was while we were in the car.
Afterward, we washed Jacoby off in the shower, making sure to get all the sand out of the creases and folds in his skin.
It was tricky getting that little guy into his pajamas in the car!
Finally we got him in the carseat with his sippy, ready to head home. He was totally wore out and fell asleep as soon as we got on the road.
