Florida Baseball Begins!

We've had our ups and downs this week...

On Wednesday I got my first call from O2B (Coby's preschool) saying that he wasn't acting himself - sounded a little wheezy and was laying down on the playground. It was more the laying down on the playground than the wheezing that got me worried! That's just not my little wild man! Called the doctor just to see what they said, SURE their advice would be to give him a little Mucinex and he'd be better in the morning. They were more concerned with the wheezing and asked me to bring him in as soon as possible. Long story short, he had "pre-pnemonia. No temperature, no fluid in the lungs, but wheezing and short of breath, along with a nasty cough. $82 later at the pharmacy and he's back to normal.

This was opening weekend for Florida baseball and by Saturday Coby was feeling well enought to watch the Gators take on Cal State, Fullerton. The weather was beautiful, we had great seats and the Gators won. Couldn't ask for a better day :)
No surprise when the following afternoon Coby wanted us to take him back out to the baseball field to practice his own moves.
(That's a Captain America mask he's wearing in case you couldn't tell. He uses is as a baseball helmet.)

He kept us out there until dark. Then it was home for pork chops and Cougar Gold macaroni and cheese.
