Relaxing Week

For the first time in I don't know how long we didn't have ANY plans this last week - and that was WONDERFUL!!!! It gave us a chance to relax, rake some leaves, and Robert and I finally got our anniversary "date night" out to Chop Sticks.

Coby and I went to the park with our friends Tristy and Andy on Wednesday and had a wonderful time playing at Westside. It's so nice to be outside is the crisp fall air!
The Downtown Arts Festival took place this weekend and we all went together. Robert kept checking his phone for football scores, but I know deep down he had a good time =] The best part was that I found an art print that I had been thinking about since LAST year's Art Festival and actually bought it this time! Coby had a great time at the kids station painting and watching the flea circus. He clapped after every act and especially enjoyed the clown and trick dogs. While walking around the festival we kept seeing these huge birds. At first Coby wasn't so sure about them, but the more he saw them, the more he seemed to accept that they were all right...
Back home we decided to rake some leaves and throw the football around the yard.
Today it was back outside for a playdate at Westside with our playgroup. So fun to see them starting to interact and "play" with each other.

With the holidays around the corner I know there won't be many more slow weeks like this past one. Glad we had time to slow down and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
